Description

A nursing home license is for facilities that provide 24-hour nursing services. This includes room and board for five or more people who aren't related. Often, people who live in nursing homes need constant care because of their physical or mental condition.

Fees

$6 per bed per year (and for any change in owner). The Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), Bureau of Nursing Home Resident Care, sends nursing home reports and fee notices on or around Aug. 1.
